Warrnambool residents are urged to have their say on the future of the Environment Protection Authority, when the Inquiry team visits the region on Wednesday 16 September.
A major independent inquiry has been commissioned by the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water to look at the future role of the EPA, Victoria's environmental regulator.
Warrnambool is among 17 locations around the State where an open public forum will be held to better understand local ideas and issues to inform long term planning for the EPA.
Topics for exploration include land use planning, public health, emergency management, climate change, better regulatory approaches, and ways the EPA can effectively consult with the community.
Ministerial Advisory Committee members, Jane Brockington and Janice van Reyk, will be viewing key sites of interest across the local region.
